Reminder - No Practices this week unless your coach has found an alternate practice location. If you were scheduled for pictures this week we are having those rescheduled. You will be notified as soon as those new times are available to us. See everyone Saturday the 11th at our home tourney!

Practice Canceled for Wednesday May 1st.  Current weather conditions are keeping us from using fields.   See U06-U10 Rec Group Monday May 6th at Moon Lake Park!! U10-U14 Travelers be in touch with your coach in regards to your practices and games - See your coach to confirm!!

Soccer will start THIS week!! See U06-U10 Rec Group Wednesday May 1st at Moon Lake Park!! U10-U12 Travelers you can go on the fields Tuesday April 30th - See your coach to confirm you practice location as some coaches may still be inside this week. 

Travelers are in Marshfield this weekend - Good Luck!! We will watch Facebook for updates and pictures on game status. Go RLSA!!!

Soccer Parents, Coaches, and Team Managers, 

Soccer is officially canceled for next week, the week of Aprl 22nd. On Thursday April 25th RLSA and the City will reassess field conditions. This cancellation notice is for all U06-U10 Recreational Soccer Teams only. 

There are still some discrepancies with the teams, a few missing players, etc. We are very aware of these and please know we are doing our best to fix. We are also working through late registrations as fast as we can. We will be removing one U08 team and placing those players on other teams with coaches. We have found coaches for ALL other teams. However, if you want to be an assistant or co-coach we will ALWAYS take more; in fact if you are willing to assist on your child's team let your current coach know right away! 

Please be patient and hold all emails or calls to ask what team your child is on. Please wait until final updates are made and posted to website. There will be a note showing such is completed and it will also be posted on Facebook. You will be contacted by your team manager or coach, if you already have not. They know your team best. Please try to wait for their call or email. 

On a positive note we have over 300 registrants this season thus far and they are still coming in!! We need more help to handle this wonderful increase. If you are willing to assist please visit a board member or come to our next board meeting on Monday, May 13th at 7pm at Soccer Central to get the details, there is a little something for everyone!

We have concluded with our team manager and coaches meeting just last week.  If you have questions please hold tight until your team manager or coach contacts you.  Remember the calendar is up to date with practice times.  The game schedules are posted under each age group.  All players need cleats (athletic shoes are acceptable), shin guards, water bottle, and a ball each night of practice. 

Due to the frost and the weather bathrooms will not be open at the start of the season.  Please come prepared knowing there are NO facilities.  We are diligently working with the city but it is in the hands of Mother Nature at this time.  Thank you for understanding.

Weather is  not cooperating and we are seeing a lot of emails and phone call concerning.  Please know that your coach or team manager will be in contact in regards to your practice location.  We thank you for working with us during this time.

Registration Dates are on the Calendar!! Brochure and Registration form have also been posted.  See you at the High School Library on Mon, February 4, Wed, February 6, & Mon, February 11.  Registration is from 5:30pm – 7:30pm each night.

The Flying Squirrels take 2nd place in the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center's  2012 Turkey Bowl! Save the date for TurkeyBowl 2013: November 30th - December 1st, as per the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center's website.

This Saturday the Rice Lake "Flying Squirrels" will be heading down to Eau Claire to participate in the 3v3 Turkey Bowl Tournament, U14 division. Good Luck Ian "Floofy" Pongratz Hunter "Ego" Holmes, Zach "Buck" Buchli and Griffin "Pepperoni" Lorenz!!

Help me in wishing these boys Luck!!

Oh and, don't break a leg you guys. I need you for next season ;)

The "Y" coaching clinic registration link is officially live on the Wisconsin Youth Soccer website. Go here and find the "Y" clinic in Rice Lake on 8/7. Select register. Work through registration; create a login if you don't have one. If you have problems please let me know.

You will notice as you are creating your login and registering you will be linked to your other family members. While you are in there if you see any errors please correct them, if you have additional contact information that could be added, please add it!

If you are looking for an "E" coaching clinic (you have already taken the "Y") and have not talked to me send me an email so I can get you on the list. We are trying to set up a clinic closer than the current clinics posted. Remember the "E" clinic is longer and starts Friday night and ends Sunday afternoon however the benefits you and your players will receiving in regards to this clinic are amazing!!

Also we have received a great number so far for this summers soccer camp hosted by the Rice Lake Warriors Soccer Teams/Coaches. If you haven't registered there is still time!
