Hello Referees,

A lot of details below - please take a moment to review.  Parents that are receiving emails on behalf of their referee, please print this message and provide to your child.  We expect they read and understand much of what is being provided below.

Spring Schedules -
Spring Referee Schedules have been posted to the website, Referee Schedules, under the Referee Corner.  They are also being loaded into GameOfficials.  We are using both right now as we begin this transition.  Please take a moment over the next couple days to log on and accept your referee assignments.

Spring Tournaments or Weekend Schedules -
We know that we have a large game day on May 7th.  We do not have that schedule as of yet.  If you have not already, please email us your availability as well as update your availability in game officials for that date.

Meetings -
There will be a meeting following the practices and/or games Tuesday, 4/26/2016 at 7:30, and Wednesday, 4/27/2016 at 7:00, this week.  Please make an effort to be at one of those meetings.  If you cannot attend, please buddy up with someone that will fill you in on those details presented.

There will be a meeting on the morning of Saturday May 7th, time to be determined based on game schedule, for those reffing that date.

Uniform -
It's important that everyone respects United States Soccer Federation uniform.

1) Sunglasses are not part of your uniform. If you have prescription glasses that tint in the sunlight this is acceptable.
2) Socks MUST be pulled up.
3) BLACK shorts.  We saw blue shorts and others with a lot of white in them. We should be wearing solid black shorts.
4) Shoes should be mostly black. There are many of you wearing brightly colored shoes. (If you already purchased your colored cleats this season, please use caution in the future, don't go buy new cleats or ref shoes now.)
5) Jewelry.  We require the jewelry to be removed from the players and we need to do the same.  Earrings MUST be removed from referee's ears also. Wedding rings are acceptable to wear.

Remember you're an independent contractor that can choose any location to work but when you work games you're working for the USSF and the USSF has a dress code.

Where to get a uniform or referee shirts - really anywhere, but we bought our kit here:

As always, thank you for all you do and please let us know if you have any questions.
