The Rice Lake Soccer Association is a non-profit volunteer ran organization. We are funded entirely by donations and registration fees.

Our program DEPENDS on volunteers to make it work. Volunteers sit on our board of directors, serve as coaches and assistant coaches at all age levels, send e-mails to teams, and help run our semi-annual jamborees.

For the 2022 season, our anticipated volunteer need is as follows:

6U Teams

12-14 Coaches / Assistant Coaches and 6 Team Managers

8U Teams

16-18 Coaches / Assistant Coaches and 8 Team Managers

10U Teams

12-14 Coaches / Assistant Coaches and 6 Team Managers

If you like kids and have a loud voice, YOU can coach 6U-10U! Certification classes are available and Rice Lake Soccer Association also will host a free "Welcome to Soccer Coaching" class with all interested parties right before the season starts. Anyone who signs up to coach their child's team and coaches this season will have their player's registration fees refunded. This is a great opportunity to help our program work, spend time with your kid, and save a little money!

12U Teams

3 Coaches / Assistant Coaches and 2 Team Managers

15U Teams

3 Additional Assistant Coaches and 2 Team Managers

Other Volunteer Opportunities

Fundraising Committee - the Soccer Association pays for rec shirts and also other expenses such as all the fence you see along the road/parking lot at Moon Lake park. We need people to help us find new sponsors and bring fresh ideas to our fundraising program.

Jamboree Volunteers - We host 700+ people at a jamboree at Moon Lake Park every fall and every spring. We need more volunteers to help with things like setting out cones, putting up signs, manning a table, checking the bathrooms, and helping clean up after the event.

Board Members - We are always in need of more board members to help run the association. The board typically meets 1x per month from July to May.
